Cooling towers concentrate everything the water carries. Left unmanaged, that means scale on heat-transfer surfaces, corrosion eating at metal, and bacteria — including Legionella risk — growing in warm, nutrient-rich water. The traditional answer is a cocktail of dosed chemicals. TechFile offers a cleaner one.
How It Works
Our electrolytic treatment unit passes tower water through an electrochemical cell. The process precipitates hardness in a controlled chamber before it can deposit on your equipment, raises the water’s defences against corrosion, and suppresses biological growth — continuously and automatically, with minimal chemical addition.
Key Benefits
- Controls scale, corrosion and bacteria in one system
- Greatly reduces chemical purchase, storage and handling
- Allows higher cycles of concentration — less blowdown, less makeup water
- Helps manage Legionella risk through consistent, automatic treatment
- Stable water quality without constant manual testing and adjustment
Where It Fits
Open cooling tower circuits serving HVAC chillers and industrial processes — especially sites looking to cut chemical dependence and water use together.
